The 7 Acts of Courage

In this book, Robert E. Staub, II, a marital and family therapist and successful organizational leadership consultant, presents seven distinct acts of courage that can lead to a more fulfilled life. These are the courage to dream and put forth that dream, the courage to see current reality, the courage to confront, the courage to be confronted, the courage to learn and grow, and the courage to be vulnerable and the courage to act. The author's premise is that courage is not usually found in one great heroic act, but in small daily acts. He invites the reader to use the exercises in the book to develop those acts of courage that are the weakest while leveraging those that are already strong.
